126978ff5e * Enable loading from MPQ files instead of extracting maps, textures, wmos and sounds
Actually, sounds don't work yet.
StormLib was moved to src/dep because it is now used by the main client, too.
MPQ-related helper files moved to shared.

9b10e89b2c * updated VC71 proj files for irrlicht 1.5 - DO NOT USE the static lib compile setting!
* lots of bugfixes to MemoryDataHolder, finally made it work without crashes, for now
* prebuffer .skin files for much faster GUI loading (they are not yet deleted from memory!!)
* fixed a major bug in TypeStorage that caused values not to update
* removed log spam when loading M2 files
* fixed a bug where the character was not visible when switching from freefly to move mode and back
* preparations to use ZThread::Conditions for better thread locking

* NOTE: if you get crashes with this version when starting up the GUI, try setting DataLoaderThreads=0 in the conf file.

32248f0880 * updated the ControlSocket to be telnet-compatible. original idea by klip, thx.
* added optional password to the ContolSocket
* fixed possible exception/crash in the DefScript variable handler (occurred when typing "getvar" into the console or telnet). maybe a very slight code speedup, too.
* minor chat script updates (more telnet-friendly)
* note: if you use PHP or anything that is NOT telnet/netcat to send commands to the ControlSocket, you have to terminate each line with '\n' !

7780f608da * added experimental character movement (jump/strafe not yet done). press POS1/Home key to toggle camera/character WASD movement. camera NOT yet linked to character!!
* conf supports now client 2.4.2. no code changes.
* packets can now be sent not only from the PseuInstance main thread
* added new conf option "softquit" to disable instant terminate (+data loss) on win32 systems if user [X]'ed console window.
* misc fixes & code changes

(personal note: exams are over, back to coding, yay)

8453f04d66 * Added a Login GUI. Not beautiful, but at least it works.
** Login GUI only appears when GUI is activated in conf and either Password or Accountname are not set
** Don't resize the Login Window
** Community Website button doesn't work yet, but Quit does
* Added a dynamic framerate limiter, though i think it's overkill. See comments in PseuGUI.cpp
* Changed std::cout to logdebug in the Image and MeshLoaders

3100f68a30 last changes before 2.1.3:
* added script to support /me-like emotes (scriptname is "me")
* changed the permission system: now a script cant be used as game command f no permission is explicitly set
* implemented threadsafe CLI queue to solve crashes with short-intervalled events that ran on 2 threads
* fixed name return at "getitemprotovalue" script
* iplemented DrawObject class and a Mgr for those objects; they will ease object drawing once implemented. the Mgr works under control of the GUI thread and is threadsafe.
* implemented auto-loading of SCP files if a name-tag is present somewhere in the file ("#dbname=...") and no explicit db name was passed to "loadscp" script.
* changed internal ObjMgr storage to std::map (instead of list) for faster access
* fixed call of "_enterworld" script
* fixed handling of MyCharacter(), which could cause crashes after newly changes
* fixed GetFileList() func in tools.cpp (this fixes also related "lgetfiles" script func). now it will only parse files, not directories. might still need some fixing for linux.

2b40be9e01 * implemented (experimental!) remote controlling interface as requested by Coma. you can send any text to a specific port (via PHP or anything else), which will be interpreted & parsed DefScript-like.

6c4ae79a87 * rewrote the realm/world login code.
-> reconnecting does work now, finally.
* updated conf setting: reconnect=0: dont reconnect; reconnect=X: reconnect after X msecs.
* misc code cleanups, crash fixes, and overall improved stability.
* splitted RealmSocket into a RealmSession and the original RealmSocket code. better read-/useabilty because now its handled as WorldSession and related.

* implemented SCP database functionality (.scp files). (sounds familiar? :P )
* new DefScript command: "loadscp,name filename"
* added .def file: append.def. (wrapper to concat strings)
** -> note that the scp db has no real use right now, just some program internal stuff which will come tomorrow. soon i'll have a go at DefScript return values, useable e.g. to get data from the dbs.
