- this was making things more likely to fail from the frontend, we would
need to consider doing a db manipulation for users from the old alpha
who have user.name as null.

in a separate testSetup file we can avoid doing this individually in all component tests
the testSetup is executed before each test suite, so each test file gets a fresh
instance of localVue
