Here we reveal some of them _(note: spoilers ahead) _ **The Harry and Hermione scene** One for fans who always yearned for a romance between these two. ## Related Articles * [Deathly Hallows Part 1 trailer][6] 23 Sep 2010 * [Radcliffe: ending Potter made me cry][7] 09 Nov 2010 * [Emma Watson: 'I want to start taking more risks'][8] 06 Nov 2010 * [Radcliffe: Harry is on a crusade][9] 11 Nov 2010 The scene takes place in a tent. Yates says: "We've added a scene where [Harry] finds Hermione listening to some Muggle music and they have a dance with each other, which is a very tender, awkward and emotional moment for the two of them. "There is always that question - they have a very special friendship as characters and there is always that moment where you think, could this trip beyond friendship to something else?" **Hermione's Obliviate spell** Hankies at the ready: in a poignant scene, Hermione wipes her parents' memory to protect them from danger. All traces of her disappear from family photographs as the spell takes hold, and her mother and father are left with no memory of their only child. Says Yates: "In the book, JK alludes to that but she doesn't actually show it. I wanted to show it on film because I thought it would be a very interesting thing. We've never seen Hermione's home or her parents, and to just lift up a wand and do that when her parents are watching television would be weird, odd, interesting and surprising. JK loved that notion, but of course she came up with the original idea." Hermione's parents are played by new cast members Ian Kelly and Michelle Fairley. **The chase scene** Harry, Hermione and Ron run from a gang of Snatchers. According to Yates: "We added a big chase towards the end of the first part. [JK Rowling] gave us these brilliant characters called Snatchers so I wanted to have some more fun with them, so we added an extra beat where they chase the trio." **The nude(ish) scene** The locket scene in which Ron is taunted by images - conjured up by the Horcrux - of Riddle-Harry and Riddle-Hermione sharing an embrace does appear in the book, but the film takes things a step further. Yates required Daniel Radcliffe to strip off. "Dan has appeared nude in the past, but there are a couple of scenes in the new film in which he will undress. We will create something that feels very sexy and very intriguing." Radcliffe said: "When I read the script, I thought that I would have underwear, but no! I've already done it for Equus so it wasn't difficult. I'm wondering how people will react, even if things will be hidden on the screen." And while Rowling writes that "their lips met", in the film Radcliffe has a "full on" kiss with Emma Watson. He said: "I was ambushed by that! I always thought it was going to be this soft, sensual sort of moment and suddenly there was this vigorous kissing happening to me. She is a bit of an animal. "But then I'm not complaining, there are tens of thousands of men that would cut off limbs to be in that position." **And what you won't see...** Hogwarts. This is the first film in which the school of witchcraft and wizardry plays no part.
