When you set foot in Walt Disney World in Florida, you enter a place of

imagination and wonder. It's where adults find their inner child and children

find that dreams come true.

More than 20 years have elapsed since I first took my children to Walt Disney
|
|
World. They claim it was the best holiday they ever had - and we've got the
|
|
photo albums to prove it. Now they have taken their own children to Florida to
|
|
recapture the magic.
|
|
|
|
The memories live on: from that first magical glimpse of Cinderella Castle
|
|
across the lake, to the wow factor of Epcot and the white-knuckle thrills of
|
|
the water parks.
|
|
|
|
And though each day is packed with sensational entertainment, you can go at
|
|
your own pace, with plenty of opportunity for rest and relaxation.
|
|
|
|
Today, Walt Disney World is even bigger and better. There are four theme parks
|
|
and two water parks - and the excitement packed into the 47-square- mile world
|
|
is unparalleled.

The theme parks brim with imaginative entertainment, whatever your age, amid a

backdrop of Florida sunshine, swaying palm trees and the can-do attitude of

Entering **Magic Kingdom** is like stepping into a fairy tale. There are
|

classic attractions, colourful Disney parades and fireworks, plus hair-raising

rides and shows.

In the 107 acres you not only meet favourite Disney characters such as Mickey

and Minnie but get a chance to be a pirate or even conquer a mountain.

**Epcot** is divided into Future World, dedicated to technological innovation,
|
|
and World Showcase, which celebrates the culture and cuisine of 11 different
|
|
nations, each with its own pavilion fringing a large lake. It's a chance to
|
|
take a round-the- world tour without catching a boat or plane.
|
|
|

And when the sun goes down, you can be dazzled by the nightly firework
|
|
display, music and laser show that is Illuminations: Reflections of Earth,
|
|
while enjoying dinner or a drink at one of the many locations around the lake.

Disney's **Animal Kingdom Park **is the largest of its kind in the world. It
|
|
is home to more than 1,700 animals from 250 species and sprawls across 500
|
|
acres of lush landscape. The park is filled with attractions, adventures and
|
|
entertainment that reflect Walt Disney's dedication to nature and conservation
|
|
and leads the way in animal care, education and research.
|
|
|
|
The glitz and glamour of the Hollywood Heydays from the Thirties and Forties
|
|
are captured by the neon, chrome, art deco and modern architecture throughout
|
|
**Disney's Hollywood Studios **theme park.

The resort offers behind-the-scenes glimpses of film action with live shows,

with real sharks. And **Blizzard Beach **features one of the world's highest

|
and fastest waterslides, as well as slides and rides for all the family.

|
|
class cuisine and a huge sports complex with world-class golf courses.
|
|

And in the night-time, **Disney's BoardWalk and Downtown Disney Area** offer

shows.
