* 4 Taste the Difference Jubilee vine tomatoes
|
|
|
|
* 1 onion
|
|
|
|
* 5 cloves garlic
|
|
|
|
* 2 tbsp sun dried tomato puree
|
|
|
|
* 2 tbsp olive oil
|
|
|
|
* 2 tsp dried oregano
|
|
|
|
* 2 tsp soft brown sugar
|
|
|
|
_These specific products may not all be available in Sainsbury's Local and
|
|
Central stores. Remember to wash tomatoes before using._
|
|
|
|
### Try
|
|
|
|
…placing 1 onion and 5 cloves garlic, all peeled and finely chopped, and 4
|
|
Taste the Difference Jubilee vine tomatoes in a deep saucepan.
|
|
|
|
Add 2 tablespoons sun dried tomato puree, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 teaspoons
|
|
dried oregano and 2 teaspoons soft brown sugar.
|
|
|
|
Bring to the boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 1 hour until the sauce
|
|
is thick for a tasty sauce that can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
