# Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Recipes: Camembert tarte tatin
|
||
|

## A wonderfully warming Camembert recipe using Sainsbury's Taste the
|
||
Difference ingredients.

* 2 tbsp Fairtrade dark brown soft sugar
|
||
|
||
* 1/2 Granny Smith apple
|
||
|
||
* 250g Taste the Difference French Camembert
|
||
|
||
* Thyme
|
||
|
||
* 1 Taste the Difference half ciabatta
|
||
|
||

||
### Try
|
||
|
||
…melting 25g unsalted butter in a small frying pan and scatter over 2
|
||
tablespoons Fairtrade dark brown soft sugar. Heat until caramelised, then add
|
||
1⁄2 Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced, and cook for 4-5 minutes on each
|
||
side.
|
||
|
||
Meanwhile, remove the wrapping from 1 x 250g carton Taste the Difference
|
||
French Camembert and place the cheese back in the carton.
|
||
|
||
Fan the apples on top and spoon over any sauce left in the pan. Sprinkle with
|
||
thyme leaves and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C, fan 180°C, gas 6 for 20
|
||
minutes.
|
||
|
||
Meanwhile, thinly slice a Taste the Difference half ciabatta and toast under a
|
||
medium grill until golden.
|
||
|
||
Serve the Camembert tarte tatin with the grilled ciabatta slices for a
|
||
wonderfully warming treat that's perfect for sharing.
|
||
|
||
Why not try stirring your tomato sauce through cooked pasta or using it to
|
||
marinate chicken breasts before cooking. You could also use it as a delicious
|
||
topping for pizzas or a flavoursome relish for burgers.

||
