# About our Wealth Management Service Partner
## Introducing St. James's Place Wealth Management, an award-winning FTSE 250
company with in excess of £28 billion client funds under management.
12:59PM BST 01 Jun 2010
**St. James's Place Wealth Management**
St. James's Place Wealth Management is a leading UK wealth management
organisation. Founded in 1991, St. James's Place was listed on the London
Stock Exchange in 1997 and is now a FTSE 250 company with over £28 billion
client funds under management.
The company provides face-to-face advice to clients based on their individual
needs and circumstances, adapting the advice as requirements change over time
to ensure that recommendations remain appropriate.
St. James's Place offers a comprehensive range of services whether you are
Establishing Wealth, Growing Wealth, Managing Wealth or Preserving your
Wealth.
The quality of the advice they provide is recognised by our readers who voted
St. James's Place winners of the Telegraph 'Wealth Manager of the Year', 2007
and 2008 and our 'Best Performing Fund' award in 2009.
**St. James's Place Partnership**
The experienced members of the St. James's Place Partnership play a pivotal
role in delivering the Telegraph Wealth Management Service. The Partnership -
so called because of the way they work in partnership with their clients -
work from a network of offices across the UK. On average, St. James's Place
Partners have 17 years' experience in their field and include some of the most
highly-regarded professionals working in wealth management today.
St. James's Place Partners are informed and highly skilled advisers; some have
particular expertise in specific and often highly technical areas. They
believe advice is best given face-to-face and focused on the personal needs of
each individual client.
A distinctive approach to Investment Management
St. James's Place Wealth Management does not employ in-house fund managers
because it believes that no single investment house has a monopoly of
investment expertise. They carefully select a number of external managers from
across the globe to manage their range of funds. The cornerstone of this
approach is the Investment Committee who 'manage the fund managers' on behalf
of their clients.
The Investment Committee is assisted by the independent investment consulting
firm, Stamford Associates, who play an important role in the selection and
monitoring of investment managers. This approach gives them the flexibility to
respond to market conditions as they change and also provides the confidence
that they are employing the best fund managers for their clients.
Telegraph Media Group Limited is an appointed Introducer to St. James's Place
Wealth Management plc which is authorised and regulated by the Financial
Services Authority.
The St. James's Place Partnership and the title 'Partner' are the marketing
terms used to describe representatives of the St. James's Place Wealth
Management Group plc. St. James's Place plc Registered No. 3163415
