# Lion attack in Las Vegas caught on camera
|

## A video of a lion attacking one its trainers in front of a crowd of
|
|
onlookers at a Las Vegas hotel has created a stir in the United States.
|

The attack happened at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on Sep 1 and was
|
|
captured on camera by a newly wed couple from Montana who posted the footage
|
|
on the internet.
|
|
|
|
Titus and Drew Ellis were visiting the Lion Habitat when the male lion lunged
|
|
at one its two trainers.
|
|
|
|
The man managed to break free from the animal with the help of his colleague
|
|
and made a hasty escape from the enclosure.
|
|
|
|
Soundproof glass muffled any noise from the incident, but the lion continued
|
|
to appear agitated after the attack.
|
|
|
|
The trainer was in visible pain during the attack, but is not thought to have
|
|
been seriously injured.
