# Myrmecodia Ant Plant at the Eden Project
|
|
|
|
## These warty-looking plants have swollen bases that contain tunnels in
|
|
which ants live. In return, the ants protect the plant from grazers and pests,
|
|
but this also chases pollinators away, forcing the plant to self pollinate.
